Look Down, Keep Counting
Inspired by “My Heart Belongs to Daddy,” poem by Toby Altman
Look Down Keep Counting is a reverent and whimsical exploration of the relationship between the body and the earth. Through a playful investigation of the properties of grain, the world around us becomes something we can enjoy and engage with, but is ultimately ungraspable and cannot be contained. It is a celebration of our potential, and an investigation of the limits of agency.
